» Introduction to general remarks on prayer
As already pointed out, the Muslim’s mind should always be occupied with the remembrance of God and his tongue be busied with utterances of praise and glory of Him.

... from the verses of The Noble Qur'an
Say: O God, Holder of All Power! You grant dominion to whomever You wish and You remove dominion from whomever You wish. You exalt whomever You wish and You bring low whomever You wish. In Your hand is all good. Indeed, You are Powerful over all things. You enter the night into the day and enter the day into the night, and You bring forth the living from the dead and bring forth the dead from the living, and You grant sustenance to whomever You wish without measure.( Qur’an, 3:26-7)
... from the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that A dark-complexioned woman (or a young man) used to sweep the mosque. The Messenger of Allah (May peace and blessings be upon him) missed her (or him) and inquired about her (or him). The people told him that she (or he) had died. He asked why they did not inform him, and it appears as if they had treated her (or him) or her (or his) affairs as of little account. He (the Holy Prophet) said: “Lead me to her (or his) grave.” They led him to that place and he performed the Prayer over her (or him) and then remarked: “Verily, these graves are full of darkness for their dwellers. Verily, the Mighty and Glorious Allah illuminates them for their occupants by reason of my Prayer over them.”
» Sister April reverted on July 12, 2004
My story begins in the fall of 2003. I was taking a writing class in college and was assigned to write a paper on a controversial issue. I chose “Religion and Women's Rights.” I chose this topic mainly to annoy my evangelical writing instructor.
